About Eoin
Irish artist, Eoin O'Connor is living and working in Aughrim county Wicklow. His highly sought after pieces are among both leading business and private collections at home and abroad.
Eoin O Connor's palette is dominated by strong powerful tones that are rich in contrast. He finds his motifs in the immediate surrondings of his native Ireland, the landscapes, the sea, the farmsteads and it's many Characters
Before painting Eoin had a backround in Architecture which explains his assured drawing style that forms the basis for his compositions
What is striking about O Connor's work is the way he succeeds in bringing something new to the everyday by exaggerating his perspectives coupled with a truly courageous use of colour. His work is striking, uplifting and memorable!!
Eoin has Exhibited through out the world, New York, London, Hamburg to name but a few.
Eoin has a world wide publishing deal with International Graphics (a German fine art publishing company) for four of his well known cow paintings.
Eoin also has his own range of Fine art prints which can be found in his gallery Art box, in the beautiful coastal town of Kinsale, County Cork and here on this website.
A range of Eoin‘s prints can also be purchased in many of Irelands leading stores, among them Clerys Dublin, The Kilkenny store, Westgate design and Barna Gifts.
